The Porsche Camping Trailer.
Repurposing a modern classic.
What do you do with a modern classic that’s beyond economic repair?
Rather than send my 2000 Porsche Boxster S to the scrapyard,
I gave it a new lease of life as an outdoor adventure tool.
The prototype was completed in Mar 2023 in time for
an intense show and trip schedule through the next two summers.
The preproduction version was finished in Mar 2025.

*In the autonomous driving industry, we call the very first build a “mule” to indicate that we’re slapping a whole bunch of stuff on it to try things out, but it’s not a final design.
Why Moscow Mule? Cos I was rushin’.
